About This Class
This Sitar course offers a rich and immersive journey into the timeless tradition of Indian classical music. Students develop a strong foundation through proper sitting posture, instrument handling, mizrab (plectrum) technique, finger positioning, and precise note production. As the course progresses, learners explore ragas, alankars, meend, gamak, jod, and improvisation while mastering the expressive nuances that define sitar performance.
